Randy Northrop is the conductor of the Swing Lab and specializes in certified analysis of both baseball/softball and golf swings.

Randy is a long standing and well known member of the Billings sports community. Over the past 19 years, Randy has been the
successful coach of Rocky Mountain College golf teams. Over that time, RMC  and Coach Northrop qualified 15 times for the National Tournament. Coach Northrop is most proud of the seven All-Americans he helped throughout those years.

Randy has spent the last two years gaining Certification through the Epstein Baseball Hitting Instructional System. Randy’s
certification as the Rocky Mountain region’s director, puts him in an elite group of instructors. Randy passion for the game of baseball drives him to teach the necessary skills and path for success for young players.

Aside from being an accomplished golfer, Northrop was a three sport athlete earning All American status in two sports. Randy was Region 1 player of the year and sought after by two Major League teams as a middle infielder and pitcher.

Randy brings his skills and knowledge to the Swing Lab program and is committed to growing and developing each player to their optimum ability.


Randy went to High School in Huntley Project and was an All-State Football and Basketball player for the Red Devils, where he led them to numerous State Championships. Randy’s true love and talent was baseball. Randy was drafted by
out of high school  by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays (Devil Rays at that time), but  chose to attend Wichita State University on a baseball scholarship.  

Randy had an exceptional career as a “Wichita State Shocker” and earned All- Conference honors as a Sophomore and a Junior which lead to him being drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the eighth round of the Major League Draft.
Randy played for six years in the San Francisco Giants organization through Single A, AA, and AAA leagues. Randy and his wife Marlo and their four children reside in Billings now and Randy spends a great deal of his time teaching and instructing
young players on the mechanics and practices of baseball.

Randy is a partner in Hitters Club Sports and specializes in hitting and outfielding at the Swing Lab



Greg was born and raised in Billings and has been a large part of many baseball and softball players success over the last 20 years. Greg played his baseball career in Billings and when he was 15 years old he was selected by the Billings Royal as a
pitcher. Greg and his teammates had a four year run at being one of the best teams ever fielded in Billings Legion Baseball.
Greg received a scholarship to College of Southern Idaho after high school and then his early college success led him to being drafted by the San Diego Padres. Greg was in the Padres organization for two years before moving back to Billings to run his

Over the last 25 years, Greg has been involved and organized Elite Softball teams and baseball teams that have provided an avenue for high school players to reach their goal of playing at the collegiate level. Greg is a partner in Hitters Club Sports and bring his
expertise of pitching to the Swing Lab.



Art LaGaly has been involved with coaching and teaching baseball and softball for the last 25 years in both Idaho and Montana.

Art started  Hitters Club Inc. in 1998 and along with numerous great instructors and colleagues has grown the business to a regionally known and respected baseball and softball instructional academy.

Art played his baseball career in Billings as well, playing for the Billing Royals for four years  and then receiving a scholarship to College of Southern Idaho.

From there, Art finished his college at Montana State University and proceeded with his business career.  

The Swing Lab and Hitters Club Sports provide an exclusive avenue for all baseball and softball players at all ages.

We specialize in helping young players understand the qualities and abilities they have as an athlete. From there, we guide each player through all the levels of the sport with our ultimate goal being an opportunity
to play at the collegiate level.
