Gregor Tilch-Jensen

All of the technical instruction in Rio Golf Academy’s full-time program is overseen by Gregor Tilch-Jensen. Since 2009, he has helped players grow from juniors into national champions, international champions, Junior Ryder Cup representatives, Power 4 college athletes, All-Americans, and PGA/LPGA Tour players.

Peter Bakker

Peter Bakker operates the full-time program and brings over 30 years of coaching experience with juniors and post-graduates. For more than 20 years, he has worked with PGA/LPGA Tour players, national teams, and top amateurs.

His athletes have earned multiple professional wins, and over the last decade, every junior he has mentored has gone on to play college golf, with more than 70% receiving scholarships.

Dr. Robert Neal

Dr. Robert Neal is the world’s leading expert in golf biomechanics and the founder of Golf Biodynamics. His work uses 3D motion capture and performance data to turn complex movement into clear, coachable actions.

His expertise is regularly sought by PGA/LPGA professionals, and he consults on the technical instruction of full-time students.

Chris Paisley

Chris Paisley brings 15+ years of professional playing experience to the full-time program. As a former player on the DP World Tour, he knows what it takes to score when it matters.

Chris practices on-course with full-time students to show them how to read situations, choose the right shot, and make confident decisions under pressure.

Karen Harrison

Karen Harrison adds performance training to the full-time program. She is a trusted sports performance specialist with 25+ years of experience helping golfers move better, perform consistently, and stay healthy for the long run.

As a podiatrist and exercise scientist, she brings a rare mix of clinical insight and high-performance coaching. Karen Harrison has worked with professionals, national teams, PGA organizations, and elite juniors around the world.

Her approach blends movement screening, strength and conditioning, injury prevention, and sports nutrition, suited for all ages and skill levels.
