Tom Jackson
PGA of Canada • General Manager, Rio Pinar Golf • Player Development
A PGA Professional with Over 40 Years of Expertise. Tom is a Class “A” member of the PGA of Canada with more than four decades in the game—bringing deep competitive and coaching insight to the Rio Golf Academy.
He competed for 13 years on the PGA Tour Canada as well as the Australian and Asian tours, gaining invaluable experience playing alongside top professionals worldwide. That firsthand tour background shapes his approach to player development.
In 2006, Tom founded a full-time junior and post-grad residential academy in Orlando to prepare young golfers for success in junior and collegiate golf—and beyond. He partnered closely with leading Central Florida academic institutions, helping student-athletes graduate and earn sports scholarships to universities across the U.S.
After merging his academy with another established institution, Tom returned to golf operations. For the past six and a half years, he has served as General Manager of Rio Pinar Golf, continuing to elevate programs, facilities, and player experiences.
